This is a six-week session for a “learning to be a golfer and a caddie” program. Concurrent enrollment in another FTCV class is needed to qualify. We ask that the student be able to stay focused for 9 holes and an adult accompany as a caddie. The focus for this class is to teach the students how to navigate a golf course to act & think like golfers. Adult support for beginners is required to help them stay focused & with their pace of play.
Part of this process is for the students to lean how to grow through their on-course challenges with minimal-to-no-swing-help while competing.
- Adults are encouraged to be on course to assist in helping students navigate the round of golf while acting as a caddie.
- A 1/2 hour lesson precedes 9 holes of golf. Total time is 2 hours.
- Students start playing each hole at 25 yards. When they score 36 or better, they then move back to 50, 100, 150, 200, & beyond
*Limited to current FTCV participants*
