First Tee – Coachella Valley Caddie Scholarship Program

We are excited to present a special, invitation-only opportunity. We are partnering with the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Foundation to run a caddie-mentoring program to help our caddies become eligible for the Chick Evan’s Scholarship. To help our FTCV participants work toward qualifying, we offer selected participants the chance to caddie at local golf clubs. Space in this program is limited to 16 young people in 2026/27, and acceptance is based on selection by the committee from the pool of applicants.
The Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies is a full tuition and housing college scholarship awarded to high-achieving caddies with limited financial means. Previous caddie experience is not necessary! Please review the qualifications below and the attached materials to determine whether this opportunity may be a fit, and also whether you are willing and able to commit the time and effort it requires.
